Antonio Sepúlveda G. appointed as Vice President of Sales & Business Development


BOULDER, Colo. and SANTIAGO, Chile – April 12, 2012 - NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: NEOM.OB), the pioneer in global mobile barcode management solutions, has today announced Antonio Sepúlveda G. as its new Vice President of Sales & Business Development LATAM.


With more than twenty years of experience in the telecoms industry and a deep knowledge of QR technology and applications, Mr Sepúlveda will take responsibility for the sales and business development for NeoMedia’s core products, NeoReader® and NeoSphere™, in the Latin American region. According to recent statistics from the GSMA, mobile phone penetration in the region is higher than that in the United States with its 630 million mobile connections making it the world’s third largest mobile market. By 2015, it is anticipated that Latin America will have 750 million mobile connections making online media even more important for those organizations reaching out to the region.


Before joining NeoMedia, Mr. Sepúlveda was VP of Sales and Business Development for Scanbuy in LATAM, where he was pivotal in developing the vision and ‘go to market’ model for sales and marketing activity in the region, as well as leading customer liaison with all major outlets. Previously, Mr. Sepúlveda has also held a range of sales and business development roles at Sofinnova Companies, Ericsson-HP Telecom Group and BellSouth International.
